A new season of one of Netflix’s most addictive reality shows is here. The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On Season 3 premieres Wednesday, Dec. 4 with an all-new cast of six couples who are at a relationship crossroads.

One partner wants to get married, but another isn’t so sure they’re ready to commit. To decide on their next move, each will enter a trial marriage with another cast member. At the end of the experiment, they’ll have to decide whether to return to their original partner or break up for good.

When are new episodes of ‘The Ultimatum’ Season 3 on Netflix?

The Ultimatum Season 3 will have 10 episodes in total. Vanessa and Nick Lachey return to host the new season.

The first five episodes premiere Wednesday, Dec. 4, on Netflix. Episodes 6, 7, and 8 premiere on Wednesday, Dec. 11. Episodes 9 and 10 premiere Wednesday, Dec. 18.

What to expect from the new season of Netflix’s ‘The Ultimatum’

Fans will have to tune in to see all the drama that unfolds on The Ultimatum Season 3. But a trailer (via YouTube) for the new season offers some hints of what’s to come.

“Why do I have to fight for you to love me?” Scotty asks Aria. Meanwhile, Caleb wonders if “the grass is greener somewhere else.”

Of course, it’s after the partner-swapping starts that the real fireworks begin.

“Everyone should do a trial marriage,” J.R. says to Sandy. “Try it before you buy it.” Later in the trailer, things look to be getting hot and heavy for the pair. “I like, love him,” Sandy says as she sits by the pool. Even Sandy’s boyfriend Nick can see that something is up.

“She looked at you in a way that she used to look at me,” he tells J.R.

Meanwhile, J.R.’s girlfriend Zania looks to have partnered up with Caleb. Now, she’s having doubts about what’s right for her.

“I think the things I was sure about, I’m not sure at all about,” she says. “And I think that that’s what scares me about this.”

‘MAFS’ Chicago: What Happened to the Couples From the First Windy City Season?

Love is in the air in the Windy City. Lifetime’s Married at First Sight returned to Chicago for its 18th season. The show’s trio of experts – Pastor Cal Roberson, Dr. Pepper Schwartz, and Dr. Pia Holec – matched five couples, who met at the altar, moments before saying “I do.”

So far, things are off to a rocky start for the MAFS Season 18 cast. They’re battling a range of issues large and small, including disappointment over a partner’s living situation (Michelle and David), worries about a husband’s lack of swagger (Camille and Thomas) and awkward pet introductions (both Emen and Ikechi and Madison and Allen). But the marriages are still relatively new, and anything could happen before Decision Day.

Fans will have to wait and see if any of this season’s couples decide to stay married at the end of the eight-week experiment. But what about the show’s first batch of couples from Chicago? Married at First Sight previously matched people in the country’s third-largest city in season 5, which aired in 2017, and one of those couples is still married today.

Danielle and Cody

Danielle DeGroot and Cody Knapek were one of three couples who tied the knot in Married at First Sight’s first Chicago season. Although they struggled with intimacy issues, they decided to stay together on Decision Day. Unfortunately, the relationship didn’t last. One year after saying “I do,” Danielle and Cody decided to divorce.

Today, Danielle works as a dietitian and health coach in Nashville. She is in a relationship. “In another world, I was married to a stranger on a reality TV show,” she wrote in a 2022 Instagram post. “…It [led] me to a lot of personal and professional growth and some beautiful friendships and connections.”

Cody got engaged in February 2023, according to his Twitter. He now lives in Ohio, according to His LinkedIn profile.

Sheila and Nate

The experts thought Sheila Downs and Nate Duhon were a perfect match, but they had a rocky relationship during their time on Married at First Sight. Though they said yes on Decision Day, they had serious doubts about their future together. Unsurprisingly, the marriage didn’t last. In November 2017, Sheila and Nate announced they were getting a divorce. In a series of social media posts (via People), Sheila accused Nate of being unfaithful, which he denied.

Although Sheila’s marriage to Nate was a bust, she’s moved on and found love with a new man named Kurt. They tied the knot in August 2023, she shared on Instagram. Nate has also put his MAFS experience behind him. He’s now a dad to a little boy, who was born in December 2022. Earlier in 2024, he got engaged. He’s also the founder of Duey Juice Cocktails, a line of pre-mixed rum-based cocktails.

Ashley and Anthony

Ashley Petta and Anthony D’Amico are one of Married at First Sight’s longest-lasting couples. After getting married during the show’s Chicago season, they celebrated their eighth wedding anniversary in July 2024. Ashley was always confident things would work out with Anthony. Earlier this year, she shared a throwback photo of her and Anthony on their wedding day. “It was love at first sight,” she captioned the Instagram post.

Since becoming husband and wife, Anthony and Ashley have become a family of four. Their first child, a daughter, was born in January 2019. Baby No. 2, another girl, was born in February 2021. They’ve also appeared on the spinoffs Married at First Sight: Happily Ever After and Married at First Sight: Couples Couch.

TikToker Baylen DuPree to Star in New TLC Show, ‘Baylen Out Loud’

From viral TikTook sensation to TLC star. Baylen Dudree has been documenting her life with Tourette syndrome on social media for years. Now, she’s going to star in a new reality series, Baylen Out Loud.

‘Baylen Out Loud’ premieres in January 2025 on TLC

Baylen was diagnosed with Tourette syndrome at age 18, after she began experiencing involuntary movements and noises that intensified in her teen years.

“Tourette syndrome causes me to have involuntary motor and vocal tics,” she explains in a teaser for Baylen Out Loud.

Now 22, Baylen is navigating the reality of living with a variety of tics while also fighting to become an independent adult. She shares her life with her 9.5 million TikTok followers, who have embraced her positivity and openness.

“Baylen’s realness and humor struck us right away,” Howard Lee, president, TLC and Discovery Networks, said in a statement. “Her fearless honesty about living with Tourette syndrome not only busts stereotypes but also builds bridges of understanding. At TLC, we stay committed to showcasing stories that resonate deeply with our audience, and Baylen’s journey is the perfect blend of heart and mission.”

Baylen Out Loud will follow Baylen and “her loving family in West Virginia, including her five siblings, devoted boyfriend, Colin, protective father, Allen, and strong and independent mother, Julie.” With their support, “Baylen learns to manage the complexities of Tourette and embrace life fully,” according to TLC’s description of the new show, which premieres Jan. 13 on TLC.

“Having a sister with Tourette’s is very crazy,” Baylen’s sister Sammi says in the teaser. “You don’t know if you’re going to get slapped in the face or get a hug.”

Baylen hopes to move out of her parents home, but they have concerns

Each episode of Baylen Out Loud will follow Baylen as she pushes herself to live the life she’s always dreamed of and strives to build a future with her boyfriend, Colin, whom she describes as “my medicine.” For years, she was self-conscious about her condition. But now, she’s ready to show off her authentic self and show the world that her diagnosis does not define her.

“My number one goal is to move out of my parents’ house,” she says.

However, Allen and Julie aren’t sure their daughter is ready to be on her own.

“Baylen wants her independence, but it’s an emotional dance,” Julie says.

To make matters more complicated, Colin is currently serving in the U.S. Air Force. Soon, he’ll have to relocate. “I could end up anywhere,” he says

Baylen doesn’t want Colin to leave, but it’s not clear if she can move with him. Flying can be a challenge with her condition. At one point in the teaser, she announces she has a gun while standing in a TSA line.

“Does he want to drag her with him wherever he goes?” Sammi asks.

The stress might be making Baylen’s condition worse.

“I’m concerned she’s going to overdo herself,” Julie says.

Baylen Out Loud premieres Monday, Jan. 13 at 9 p.m. ET on TLC.

Six more couples are putting their relationships to the ultimate test. Netflix’s reality series The Ultimatum returns for its third season on December 4, with a fresh cast who are at a crossroads. One partner is ready to get married, and the other isn’t so sure. Each couple will break up and enter a new, trial marriage with one of the other cast members. At the end of the experiment, they’ll have to decide whether to return to their original partner or break up for good.

Zaina and J.R.

Zaina, 32, has issued the ultimatum to her boyfriend J.R., 33. Even though they’ve been together for three years, he still has reservations about marriage, especially because he’s done it once before and it didn’t work out. But Zaina is done waiting for him to commit to a long-term partnership.

Nick and Sandy

Nick, 38, is the ultimatum giver in his relationship with his girlfriend Sandy, 27. They’ve been together for more than two years and he knows he wants to spend the rest of his life with her. But she’s not so sure she’s ready to settle down.

Even though she’s the youngest cast member on The Ultimatum Season 3, Mariah, 24, knows she’s ready to commit to her boyfriend Caleb, 29. She’s hopeful that going on the show will end with them getting engaged, but Caleb might be getting cold feet.

Scotty and Aria

Scotty, 30, is ready to say “I do” to his girlfriend Aria, 25. They’ve been together for three years, and he believes she’s the once. She loves Scotty, who makes her feel “safe.” But she also has professional goals that she’s not willing to sacrifice for a relationship.

“At the end of the his experience, I hope my partner will choose me in the way that I’ve chosen her,” Scotty says in the trailer for the new season (via YouTube).

Chanel and Michael

Chanel, 27, and Michael, 28, have been together for 2½ years. She’s ready to walk down the aisle and has given him an ultimatum: propose or it’s over. Chanel hopes that participating in The Ultimatum will make them stronger as a couple. But even though Michael thinks Chanel is “100% the one,” he’s not sure now is the right time to get married.

Vanessa and Dave

Vanessa, 30, has issued the ultimatum to Dave, 34, and he’s not happy about it. He thinks things between them are working fine as is, and he doesn’t see how going on the show will help them. He wants to take his time with the decision-making process. But Vanessa knows what she wants.

“I want to get married. I want someone to make me feel like I am their dream woman,” she says in the trailer.

The goal of the intensive group couples retreat is to force them to work through their issues or convince them that it’s time to go their separate ways for good. Unfortunately, it looks like the last-ditch effort to repair their relationship did not work.

Rob and Sophie from ‘90 Day Fiancé’ have a troubled relationship

Rob and Sophie connected on Instagram and quickly fell for each other. She moved from London to the U.S. to be with him. But when the posh Sophie arrived in America, she was stunned by Rob’s living situation. However, the real issues in their relationship were insecurity, infidelity, and differing visions for their future together.

Despite the challenges, Rob and Sophie went through with a small beachfront wedding at the end of 90 Day Fiancé Season 10. But saying “I do” didn’t solve their problems. The pair continued to clash over Sophie’s bisexuality, her relationship with her friend Kae, Rob’s online cheating, and other issues. Soon after getting hitched, Sophie moved out. While they were still married during the 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? Season 8 tell-all, their relationship was clearly on life support.

“I don’t think we’re good for each other, to be honest. I think we bring out the worst in each other,” Sophie admitted during the tell-all. Meanwhile, Rob seemed to have given up all hope of reconciling with his wife.

While Rob and Sophie’s chances for a happy future together looked bleak, the pair decided to make one final effort to save the marriage. They signed on for 90 Day: The Last Resort Season 2, where they’ll join five other 90 Day couples – including Gino and Jasmine and Brandon and Julia – at a resort in Arizona to work on their relationship.

“Looking around, we might not be the most dysfunctional couple here,” Rob says in the teaser (via YouTube) for the new season.

“I want us both to be happy,” a tearful Sophie says during a brief glimpse at their recommitment ceremony.

Are Rob and Sophie still together?

Rob and Sophie are keeping quiet about their relationship status ahead of the 90 Day: The Last Resort Season 2 premiere. But there are signs that they are no longer together. Neither has appeared on the other’s social media for over a year. According to his latest updates, Rob spent the Thanksgiving holiday in Australia with friends, while Sophie has been spending time in Miami and LA, apparently without Rob.

Earlier this year, a source told In Touch that Rob and Sophie had split up after one year of marriage. However, they had not yet filed for divorce.

“They haven’t officially filed because the show is still going on,” the insider said. “Sophie and Rob still keep in touch and are friends but they are not together.”

Six 90 Day Fiancé couples are about to embark on an experience like no other. They’ve agreed to participate in a one-of-a-kind couples retreat that will challenge them to fix the deep-seated issues in their relationships. And if they can’t work things out? Well, it may be time for them to go their separate ways for good.

The first season of 90 Day: The Last Resort featured some of the most notorious couples from the TLC franchise, including Michael Ilesanmi and Angela Deem and Big Ed Brown and Liz Woods. Brandon and Julia most recently appeared on 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? Season 6. They’ve signed on for The Last Resort because of some serious issues in their marriage. For one, they’re not on the same page when it comes to having kids. Plus, Julia, who is from Russia, has been increasingly homesick. They fear they are growing apart and slowly losing touch with what’s important in their marriage.

“Time to share what we have been holding back,” Brandon wrote on Instagram when their casting was announced. “This has been difficult to share but [it’s] time to face it.”

Gino and Jasmine

Gino and Jasmine, who tied the knot in 90 Day Fiancé Season 10, were last seen on 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? Season 8, which followed them as they struggled to adapt to married life. It hasn’t been easy. Not only is Jasmine adjusting to life in the U.S., but they are also facing other issues. Jasmine feels controlled, while Gino is worn out from the constant arguments.

“If we don’t do something now, we’re going to end up divorcing and hating each other,” Jasmine says in the teaser.

Rob and Sophie

Following a health scare, Stacey is even more frustrated with Florian, whom she claims was not there for when she really needed him. Florian isn’t a fan of therapy, but he’s agreed to participate in The Last Resort in an effort to save their marriage.

Natalie and Josh

Natalie and Josh last appeared on 90 Day: The Single Life Season 4. They’re the only unmarried couple who are part of The Last Resort Season 2 cast. But Natalie is hoping to change that. She wants to be in a committed relationship with Josh, but he has not welcomed Natalie into his family life. They’ve broken up three times in the past, and this is their last attempt to find a path forward together.

“I think I deserve to have some answers,” Natalie tells the group in a clip from the new season.

It’s the last chance for these 90 Day Fiancé couples. After reaching a breaking point in their relationships, six couples from the hit franchise embark on a unique relationship experiment in 90 Day: The Last Resort Season 2, premiering Dec. 2 on TLC.

Brandon and Julia, Ari and Bini, Gino and Jasmine, Rob and Sophie, Josh and Natalie, and Stacey and Florian will participate in a unique group couples retreat in Arizona, spending three weeks undergoing a rigorous relationship bootcamp aimed at repairing trust and building connections. Will the last-chance intervention work? While we’ll have to wait and see how it all plays out, there are some clues about the status of Brandon Gibbs and Julia Trubkina’s marriage.

Brandon and Julia have been married since 2020

Brandon and Julia made their TLC debut in 90 Day Fiancé Season 8. After connecting online and meeting in person, Brandon proposed to Julia during a trip to Iceland. Soon, she was making plans to move to the U.S. from Russia on a K-1 visa.

Despite some challenges that came from living with Brandon’s parents, Brandon and Julia tied the knot in April 2020. They continued to share their story on 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? They eventually purchased their own home in Virginia, and Julia focused on getting a job, though her desire to return to her career as a go-go dancer didn’t always sit well with Brandon.

The ‘90 Day Fiancé’ couple are part of ‘The Last Resort’ Season 2 cast

In October 2024, TLC confirmed that Brandon and Julia would be part of the cast for 90 Day: The Last Resort Season 2. Exactly what marital problems led the couple to join the show aren’t clear, but a snippet of a conversation in the teaser for the new season suggests that infidelity has pushed them to the brink.

“She cheated on me,” Brandon says during a counseling session, which his parents are participating in via video chat. “You know that?”

“Now you bring this up?” Julia replies as Brandon storms off set.

Brandon and Julia are still together

Clues on social media suggest that Brandon and Julia were able to work through their issues and are still together today. The Last Resort filmed earlier this year, and both Brandon and Julia have been sharing posts on Instagram that indicate they’re still going strong.

In the fall of 2024, they took an epic trip to Europe, where they visited Scotland, England, Ireland, the Netherlands, Germany, Greece, and Italy.

“Message to our future child,” Brandon captioned one post. “Sorry for the delay Mom and dad are kinda busy seeing the world.”

In another post, Brandon implied that he and his wife had come through a difficult time stronger as a couple.

“There is a rainbow after the rain?” he wrote.

While it appears that things work out for Brandon and Julia, that doesn’t mean it will be an easy journey on The Last Resort.

“I have been strong for so long and now I have to open my soul and everything that has weighed on me, not only to my family, but to all of you,” she wrote after their casting was announced. “It will be difficult, emotional. Thank you to everyone who always writes warm words.”

PBS Has an Early Christmas Gift for ‘Miss Scarlet’ Fans — Stream Season 5 Before the Broadcast Premiere

Miss Scarlet is back on the case. The fifth season of the period detective drama premieres in January 2025 on PBS. The show will pick up with Eliza Scarlet (Kate Philips) as she tries to build a working relationship with a new detective inspector following the departure of William “The Duke” Wellington (Stuart Martin) at the end of season 4.

If you’re eager to see how Eliza navigates the change, we have good news. PBS is making the entire season available to stream early for Passport members.

‘Miss Scarlet’ Season 5 will start streaming in December 2024

With Martin’s surprise exit, Miss Scarlet and the Duke has gotten a new, shorter title: Miss Scarlet. But even though Eliza won’t have the Duke by her side as she solves crimes, she won’t be completely on her own. Fellow private eye Patrick Nash (Felix Scott) is still around. And she’ll also be getting to know Detective Inspector Alexander Blake (Tom Durant-Pritchard), though if history is any guide, their working relationship won’t always be easy.

Miss Scarlet Season 5 will premiere on Masterpiece on PBS on Sunday, Jan. 12, 2025, at 8 p.m. ET. But PBS Passport members won’t have to wait until the new year to see the new season. All six episodes of season 5 will be available to stream starting Sunday, Dec. 8.

Kate Phillips teases new season of ‘Miss Scarlet’

While Eliza has not given up on her goal of running a successful private detective agency in Victorian London in season 5, fans will see an evolution of her character in the new episodes, series star Phillips teased.

“When it comes to Eliza’s independence, before William’s departure, she was always independent and knew what she wanted,” the actor told PBS. “So that hasn’t changed with his departure. I think what we do begin to see is a real softening in her.”

Phillips also hinted at what to expect from Eliza’s new dynamic with Detective Blake.

“Tom brings such a grounded, intelligent energy to Blake, but a real twinkle in his eye,” she said. “So we know that there’s going to be a journey there with him and Eliza.”

Will there be romantic tension between Blake and Eliza, like there was between her and William? Durant-Pritchard played coy but suggested the two might start to develop feelings for each other.

“What can I let you know about this season? Let you into some little secrets? Well, you will firstly get to meet Alexander Blake and you will see a relationship of sorts with Eliza blossoming over the episodes,” he said. “[A]nd I guess we’ll just have to see what happens.”

Hallmark’s Christmas Movie Schedule for December 2024 Includes 12 New Movies – See the Full Schedule

The merry Christmas magic continues at Hallmark Channel. The network’s 2024 Countdown to Christmas wraps up in December. Nine new movies premiere this month featuring stars such as Jessica Lowndes, Kimberley Sustad, and Maggie Lawson. Plus, another three new movies will air on Hallmark Mystery.

All movies air at 8 p.m. ET unless otherwise noted.

‘The Finnish Line’

Anya (Kim Matula) decides to follow in her later father’s footsteps by entering a legendary dogsledding race in Finland. After a mishap involving one of her dogs, she ends up paired with Cole (Beau Mirchoff), a journalist and former facer who hopes to write a story about her journey.

The Finnish Line airs Sunday, Dec. 1 at 6 p.m. ET.

‘The Christmas Quest’

Christmas Queen Lacey Chabert stars in The Christmas Quest, her 15th holiday movie for Hallmark. This time, she’s teaming up with Kristoffer Polaha for a story about an archaeologist who embarks on a mission to track down the legendary Treasure of the Yule Lads in Iceland.

The Christmas Quest airs Sunday, Dec. 1.

‘Private Princess Christmas’

Another entry in Hallmark’s list of royal-themed Christmas movies, Private Princess Christmas stars Firefly Lane’s Ali Skovbye as a wayward princess whose mother decides that if she’s going to inherit the throne, she’ll need to complete a leadership boot camp led by Captain Ryan Douglas (Derek Klena).

Private Princess Christmas airs Friday, Dec. 6.

‘Sugarplummed’

Emily (Maggie Lawson) is dreaming of a picture-perfect Christmas, just like the kind she’s seen in holiday TV movies. She’s stunned when the character of Sugarplum (Jannel Parrish) steps out of the screen and into her life, offering to help her Christmas wish come true. But when Sugarplum’s Christmas schemes start to backfire, Emily has to reconsider her idea of a perfect holiday.

Sugarplummed airs Saturday, Dec. 7

‘Leah’s Perfect Gift’

Leah Meyer (Emily Arlook) might be Jewish, but she’s always loved Christmas from afar. When her boyfriend Graham (Evan Roderick) invites her to celebrate with his family in Connecticut, she thinks she’s finally going to experience a quintessential Christmas. But fitting in with his uptight family and unwelcoming mom (Barbara Niven) isn’t so easy.

Leah’s Perfect Gift airs Sunday, Dec. 8

‘Hanukkah on the Rocks’

As Hanukkah approaches, corporate lawyer Tory (Stacey Farber) is questioning her career choices. As she helps her bubbe prepare for the perfect celebration, she finds herself on a quest for Hanukkah candles that leads her to a bar in Chicago’s Old Town neighborhood. There, she meets a quirky group of regulars who make her rethink everything about her life.

Hanukkah on the Rocks airs Friday, Dec. 13.

‘The Santa Class’

In The Santa Class, Kate (Kimberley Sustad) reluctantly takes over her father’s struggling Santa School. As Christmas approaches, she and one of her new employees (Benjamin Ayres) discover that the real Santa is lost and suffering from amnesia after crashing his sled near the school. They decide to help him rediscover his true identity by enrolling him in Santa school.

The Santa Class airs Saturday, Dec. 14.

‘Following Yonder Star’

Abby (Brooke D’Orsay) was once known as one of the most inspirational moms on TV. But following a scandal, her life is in shambles. To escape from it all, she heads to Vermont, where she ends up at a quaint B&B owned by Tom Maguire (John Brotherton), a widower with whom she develops a close connection.

Following Yonder Star airs Sunday, Dec. 15.

‘Happy Howlidays’

The winner of Hallmark+’s reality competition series Finding Mr. Christmas will make his Hallmark movie debut opposite Jessica Lowndes in Happy Howlidays. She plays an editor for the Seattle Tourism Board who is celebrating the holiday alone. When she encounters a stray dog, she’s not sure how to handle the situation, so she reaches out to a shelter owner for help.

Happy Howlidays airs Saturday, Dec. 21.

New Hallmark Mystery Christmas movies in December

Three new movies will also air on Hallmark Mystery in December 2024.

Thursday, Dec. 5: A Dance in the Snow, about a mom (Erica Cerra) planning an inclusive dance for her autistic high school daughter (Vanessa Burghardt).

Thursday, Dec. 12: All I Need for Christmas, about a struggling singer-songwriter (Mallory Jansen) who meets an entrepreneur (Dan Jeannotte) who encourages her to get back in touch with her music.

Thursday, Dec. 19: Trading Up Christmas, about a woman (Italia Ricci) who hatches a creative plan to find her sister a new home. Michael Xavier plays the reporter assigned to cover the story.

How to Watch ‘Charlie Brown,’ ‘Rudolph,’ ‘Frosty’ and Your Other Favorite Christmas Specials in 2024

Christmas is in the air, which means it’s time to snuggle up on the couch and enjoy a dose of holiday magic.

There’s no shortage of Christmas-related programming this time of year, from non-stop holiday flicks on Hallmark to new Christmas episodes of shows like NCIS. But there’s nothing like revisiting old favorites to give us a feeling of comfort and joy. With that in mind, we’ve rounded up when and where to watch some of the most beloved holiday TV specials in 2024, including A Charlie Brown Christmas, Frosty the Snowman, and Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer.

‘A Charlie Brown Christmas’ is streaming on Apple TV+

Rats! Charlie Brown and gang have been absent from broadcast TV since Apple scooped up the rights to the various Peanuts TV specials several years ago. That means that, once again, the only way to watch A Charlie Brown Christmas in 2024 is on Apple TV+. Subscribers can stream the classic Peanuts holiday special anytime. It will also stream for free on Saturday, Dec. 14 and Sunday, Dec. 15.

‘Mickey’s Christmas Carol’ is streaming on Disney+

Ebenezeer Scrooge – portrayed by Scrooge McDuck, of course – learns the true meaning of Christmas in this 1983 animated adaptation of the Charles Dickens’ classic. Mickey’s Christmas Carol also features Mickey as Bob Cratchit, Goofy as Scrooge’s former business partner Marley, and Jiminy Cricket as the Ghost of Christmas Past. So far, there are no TV airings scheduled for 2024 that we know of, but it is available to stream on Disney+.

‘Santa Claus Is Comin’ to Town’

One of several Rankin/Bass Christmas specials, Santa Claus Is Comin’ to Town is narrated by Fred Astaire and was first broadcast in 1970. In 2024, it will air on Tuesday, Dec. 3 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on ABC after CMA Country Christmas. It will also air multiple times throughout December on Freeform as part of the network’s 25 Days of Christmas event.

‘Frosty the Snowman’ airs Dec. 5

A snowman comes to life when a little girl named Karen puts a magical hat on his head in the 1969 animated special Frosty the Snowman. It airs Thursday, Dec. 5 at 8:30 p.m. ET/PT on NBC, with an encore on Dec. 11 at 8 p.m.

Frosty the Snowman is also streaming on Hulu and Prime Video and will air on Freeform multiple times in December.

‘Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer’ airs Dec. 6

Rudolph, Hermey the Elf, Yukon Cornelius, and a cast of other misfits team up to save Christmas in the 1964 stop-motion Christmas special Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer. After decades on CBS, this year it moves to NBC and airs Friday, Dec. 6 at 8 p.m. ET/PT. That’s the exact same date it premiered 60 years ago as part of the General Electric Fantasy Hour. It airs again on Dec. 12 at 8 p.m.

Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer is also available for purchase on Prime Video and Apple TV and will air on Freeform multiple times in December.

‘How the Grinch Stole Christmas!’ airs Dec. 5

Dr. Seuss’ book about a heartless Grinch who tries to keep the Whos in Whoville from celebrating Christmas was published in 1957. In 1966, it was turned into an animated special, with narration by Boris Karloff.

How the Grinch Stole Christmas! airs Thursday, Dec. 5 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on NBC, with an encore presentation on Dec. 25 at 8 p.m. It is also streaming on Peacock.

‘Shrek the Halls’ airs Dec. 11

A newer addition to the list of holiday specials, Shrek the Halls debuted in 2007 and features characters from the Shrek movies celebrating Christmas. It airs Dec. 11 at 8:30 p.m. on NBC.
