Prince Harry and Meghan’s Montecito Neighbor Reveals Why the Duchess Isn’t Popular in the Community

A documentary Prince Harry and Meghan Markle didn’t want you to see has been released and includes some frank and harsh remarks from people who know the pair.

The documentary titled Harry: The Lost Prince was directed by veteran royal reporter Ulrike Grunewald. The film examines the Duke of Sussex’s journey within the royal family, his departure, and his current life in California with his wife. But unlike another documentary about the couple that had everyone talking, Meghan and Harry did not work with Grunewald on the project and therefore had no editorial input in the program.

One of the Sussexes’ neighbors appeared in the documentary and shared details about Meghan and why she is so unpopular in the Montecito community. Here’s more on that and what others in the area have said about living near the prince and former Suits star.

Neighbors say Meghan is unpopular and ‘ignored’

Express noted that in the documentary Richard Mineards, who is not only one of Meghan and Harry’s neighbors but also a writer for the Montecito Journal, revealed that even though the duchess speaks about the importance of community she is not at all involved in the Montecito community she’s lived in for the last four years.

“I personally don’t think that Meghan is an asset to our community,” Mineards said. “She doesn’t really go out or get involved with the community. Harry has to a certain extent, because he’s quite jolly … but Meghan doesn’t seem to get seen anywhere … And you don’t see him either.”

Mary Sheldon, another longtime resident of Montecito, owns a bookstore in town and agreed that no one sees much of the ex-working royals so they’re “ignored” by other locals.

“I think they’re basically ignored, and if people come across them that’s fine, but I don’t think the locals seek them out in any way,” Sheldon opined. “I have seen black SUVs on my road. Other than that, no impact at all.”

She was also asked if Prince Harry’s memoir Spare sold a lot of copies at her bookstore. Sheldon shared that it did not do well at her store, only selling about 20 copies since it was released in January 2023.

Many of the wealthy Montecito residents want nothing to do with the Sussexes

Prince Harry and Meghan are friends with one of the wealthiest residents in Montecito. But word is, Oprah Winfrey is the only billionaire in the neighborhood who has anything to do with them.

British socialite and author of the book Meghan and Harry: The Real Story, Lady Colin Campbell, has heard stories from some famous Montecito residents themselves that they don’t even try to bother with the Sussexes and steer clear of them.

On her YouTube channel, Lady C explained that she attended a function with people who live in the same area as the duke and duchess and their names came up.

“I was at something in London with some very very famous stars who have a place in Montecito. And of course, Meghan and Harry’s names came up,” Lady C said. “They told me what I have been told by other friends of mine, who know the Montecito scene or have places in Montecito. The billionaires don’t want to touch them, nobody wants to touch them.”

Justin Bieber might be having a tumultuous 2024, if rumors are to be believed. While the pop star seemingly dodges his association with Sean “Diddy” Combs, he has serious bills to pay. Now, a source says Bieber’s wealth is “dwindling” due to his health concerns and property tax bill. Here’s what to know.

Justin Bieber might be running out of money, according to an insider. The source told RadarOnline that Bieber’s “irresponsible” spending hasn’t let up since he canceled dates on his “Justice World Tour” in 2022 and 2023.

In 2022, Bieber was diagnosed with a neurological disorder called Ramsay-Hunt syndrome. He explained his disorder to his fans on Instagram.

“Earlier this year, I went public about my battle with Ramsay-Hunt Syndrome, where my face was partially paralyzed,” Bieber explained, according to Page Six. “As the result of this illness, I was not able to complete the North American leg of the ‘Justice Tour.’ After resting and consulting with my doctors, family, and team, I went to Europe in an effort to continue with the tour. I performed six live shows, but it took a real toll on me.”

Now, in 2024, Bieber still hasn’t hit the road with a tour or made new music. Additionally, he was hit with $380,000 in unpaid property taxes on his $16 million home.

“Justin has always been irresponsible with money and spends freely without looking at prices or his bank balance,” the source explained. “No wonder the money is dwindling. The quickest way to make some cash would be to tour, but Justin probably wouldn’t be able to withstand the rigors of the road.” The insider added that Bieber can’t “sustain his extravagant lifestyle” with no cash flow for “much longer.”

Justin Bieber reportedly considered retirement after selling his music catalog

While sources claim that Justin Bieber might be hurting for cash, such might not be the case. The pop star sold the rights to all of the music he made before 2022 for $200 million. Merck Mercuriadis, founder and chief executive officer of Hipgnosis Song Management, purchased the rights. “This acquisition ranks among the biggest deals ever made for an artist under the age of 70,” Mercuriadis said, according to The Wall Street Journal.

Bieber’s friend told RadarOnline that “stardom weighs heavily” on the pop singer, resulting in the massive sale. “Justin hasn’t felt right with the world for some time, and his stardom weighs heavily on him,” the friend explained. “Even his therapist says if what he’s doing makes him unhappy, he should make the hard decision to set it aside.”

Another insider noted that Bieber hopes to potentially retire with the $200 million. “He just wants to disappear with Hailey and enjoy his money,” they added.

The pop star hasn’t spoken out against the mogul, but insiders allege that he doesn’t want to “discuss” his previous time with Combs.

“The last thing Justin wants to do is relive or even discuss his complicated friendship with Diddy,” an insider told In Touch Weekly. “But he’s finally breaking his silence to his friends about his nightmare experience and the private hell it’s caused him. The source added that Bieber continues to focus on his wife, Hailey, and their son.

While the Duggar family once had an empire built from their reality TV series on TLC, it came crashing down with Josh Duggar’s arrest and prison sentence. Josh was sentenced to over 10 years in prison after he was found guilty of receiving and possessing child sexual abuse material. Now, he might be putting himself in harm’s way by sporting sunglasses and name-brand sneakers while behind bars. Here’s what an attorney shared.

Inmates at FCI Seagoville might ‘target’ Josh Duggar because of his luxury goods

Josh Duggar is likely one of the most famous faces in FCI Seagoville in Seagoville, Texas. He currently has a release date of Oct. 2, 2032. In the meantime, he’s reportedly sporting goods in prison that might make him a “target” to other prisoners. Photos from late November 2024 show Josh wearing sunglasses and Under Armour sneakers while walking the prison’s track.

According to The U.S. Sun, Josh could not have purchased those items in the prison commissary. He likely placed a special order to have them. A source told the publication that “inmates could make special orders for sunglasses or sneakers from specific vendors.” Additionally, the inmates have to get cash from family or loved ones to complete the purchase.

While Josh might enjoy his comfort items, Beverly Hills attorney Adam Michael Sacks told The U.S. Sun that they could do more harm than good. “Wearing sneakers and sunglasses is putting yourself in danger because other inmates would want to steal it from you,” Sacks explained. “You need to be aware of that kind of stuff. Sunglasses [are] a luxury in prison; if you have anything nice, other prisoners will want it. You are setting yourself for a fight.”

Given Josh’s relaxed look, Sacks thinks the disgraced reality star has “status” behind bars.

Josh Duggar was reportedly signing autographs for prisoners

Attorney Adam Michael Sacks is likely correct in assuming Josh Duggar has status at FCI Seagoville. In July 2024, The U.S. Sun reported that Josh was signing autographs for inmates, as they consider him a celebrity.

“Josh has been signing autographs on newspaper articles about him for prisoners’ family members,” an insider alleged.

Another source told The U.S. Sun in September 2024 that Josh had new amenities and privileges, as he moved into a renovated dorm.

“They finished painting the walls and getting flowers put into Dorm 6, where Josh lives,” the source alleged. “It’s been turned into an honors dorm.” Within the “honors dorm,” Josh allegedly has access to washers, dryers, and microwaves. “They’re trying to create a dorm of model inmates,” the source continued.

While Josh’s previous time in the SHU should’ve disqualified him from Dorm 6, the source noted that the prison “waived” the disqualification.

Anna Duggar was allegedly ‘questioning her future’ with her husband

Anna Duggar has stood by Josh Duggar’s side through his imprisonment. However, a source told In Touch Weekly in January 2023 that she started to question her “future” with Josh given his lengthy sentence.

“Anna is still very much questioning their future,” the family insider alleged. “She took her wedding vows seriously, and she wants to stand by her man and all that, but the reality of her situation is very difficult.”

While Josh resides behind bars, Anna is caring for their seven children: Mackynzie, Maryella, Marcus, Mason, Michael, Meredith, and Madyson. “Ten years behind bars feels like a lifetime for her,” the insider continued.

King Charles’ Precious Family Heirlooms Stolen in Violent Axe-Wielding Heist

The British royal family has a vast collection of artwork, tapestries, ceramics, textiles, weapons, armor, and jewelry. Many of the objects from the royal collection are on loan to museums around the world and recently axe-wielding thieves made off with some heirlooms that belonged to King Charles‘ great-grandfather, King George V, and great-grandmother, Queen Mary.

Here’s more on the crime, when it was committed, and where the monarch was while the items were being taken during a violent heist in broad daylight.

The axe-wielding assailants stole heirlooms while the museum was open

Newsweek reported that the burglary happened at the Musée Cognacq-Jay (Cognacq-Jay Museum) in Paris on Nov. 20. It occurred while King Charles was in London meeting with the Honourable Edith Dumont, Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, and her husband, Tony Viscardi.

The brazen robbery did not take place after hours or under the cover of darkness, the thieves actually committed the crime while the museum was filled with visitors and guards were present. The burglars stormed past those inside and used axes to smash open the glass display cases.

According to French media, authorities addressed the “violent robbery” in a statement and said: “The theft of seven works of art, including snuffboxes of great historical and heritage value on loan from the Louvre, the Royal Collection Trust, and The Rosalinde & Arthur Gilbert Collection on loan to the Victoria and Albert Museum, as part of the Luxe de poche exhibition.

“Investigations linked to the inquiry and the assessment of this immense loss are underway. Paris Musées and the City of Paris strongly condemn this criminal act and reaffirm their support for the staff present, who demonstrated great professionalism and an exemplary attitude in the face of this situation.”

How much the stolen pieces are valued at

Two of the items stolen were pieces on loan from The Royal Collection Trust.

One was a snuffbox which was a gift for King Charles’ great-grandfather, George V, on his 55th birthday in 1920. It is described as a “Cartouche-shaped, gold and lapis lazuli snuff box with tapering sides and oval agate base.”

The second stolen snuff box was purchased by Queen Mary in 1932. The Royal Collection Trust has described that as a”Green jasper snuff-box, mounted with gold borders, finely chased with flowers and foliage in vari-colored gold. This spectacular bloodstone box is encrusted with nearly three thousand diamonds backed with delicately colored foils in shades of pink and yellow … The snuff box is unique among the surviving Frederick the Great boxes for both its elaborately chased vari-colored gold mounts and its particularly lavish use of diamonds.”

The stolen boxes are valued at around $1 million. The museum in the French capital will remain closed until Dec. 10 as the investigation into the robbery continues.

William and Kate greeted the Qatari royals at their hotel—and, of course, posed for some photos along the way. Then the couples traveled together to the Horse Guards parade to begin the official ceremonial welcome before a private lunch at Buckingham Palace with King Charles III and Queen Camilla.

Sadly, Kate didn’t have a tiara moment at the evening’s state dinner because she skipped it. However, Queen Camilla, who is recovering from pneumonia, did step out wearing a stunning tiara. David and Victoria Beckham were also among the guests at the state dinner.

William made Kate his ‘priority’ at the state visit event

Body language expert Judi James analyzed William and Kate’s state visit appearance, telling the U.K.’s Express the future king sent a message by putting a hand on his wife’s shoulder as the official welcome got underway.

“This hand-to-shoulder gesture is not primarily a signal of concern from William,” she said. “But more one of ensuring Kate and even the world know she has his undivided attention and sole focus despite the royal state visit and all the dignitaries they are meeting and hosting.”

In body language terms, James described it as a “priority ritual.” (Remember Kate’s still easing into a busier schedule of more high-profile appearances as her cancer recovery continues.)

“It’s a priority ritual and one that will be like a stroke to both her royal status and to her sense of being the most important person in his life,” James continued before noting William doubled down on Kate being his “priority” during the state visit in another way.

“He offers it with another telling, confirmational gesture, which is the head-cock.” Additionally, “as she speaks, he also lets her know that she has his full attention.”

It proved ‘impressively romantic’ on William’s part

Making Kate his “priority” wasn’t just a sweet move from William. According to James, it’s uncommon among British royals, especially given the circumstances, which made it even more of a touching gesture.

“He’s prioritising [sic] his wife here, and in Royal Family terms this is a rare ritual,” the body language expert said. “Royal couples rarely pay too much attention to each other in public, especially at state events like this. Which makes it an even more impressively romantic signal from the prince.”

Look out for more PDA from William and Kate when they—and likely their three children, Prince George, 11, Princess Charlotte, 9, and Prince Louis, 6—go to Westminster Abbey on Dec. 6, 2024, for Kate’s annual Christmas carol service, which will be broadcast in the U.K. on Christmas Eve.

The young actor has become one of the most sought after stars in Hollywood, but he said it wasn’t always this way. Early in his career, Chalamet said he couldn’t land the types of roles he wanted. He said he continued to get the feedback that he didn’t have the right body for the parts.

When Chalamet started his career, he auditioned for major films and franchises. He said nobody wanted to give him these parts.

“I would always get the same feedback,” he told Rolling Stone. “‘Oh, you don’t have the right body.’ I had an agent call me once and say, ‘I’m tired of getting the same feedback. We’re gonna stop submitting you for these bigger projects, because you’re not putting on weight.’”

“I was trying to put on weight,” he said, adding, “I couldn’t! I basically couldn’t. My metabolism or whatever the f*** couldn’t do it.”

“I was knocking on one door that wouldn’t open,” he said. “So I went to what I thought was a more humble door, but actually ended up being explosive for me.

Chalamet is portraying Bob Dylan in the 2024 film A Complete Unknown. He said his early career struggles reminded him of Dylan’s.

Lewber posted several Instagram stories of her getting ready with Hippie and attending the soiree. REÁL MESA hosted a dog caricature artist and gifted custom dog tags and snacks to fluffy guests. Kennedy and Lewber appeared in good spirits as they laughed and posed for photos with their beloved Goldendoodle.

The nonprofit provides basic necessities to children living in poverty in the U.S. Now a mother of two young boys, the former Destiny’s Child singer has continued to support Baby2Baby as an ambassador and volunteer. On December 3, Rowland stepped out with several A-list celebrities at the organization’s holiday event. She was the epitome of cozy holiday chic while helping fulfill the needs of local children.

Kelly Rowland wore a gray V-neck cashmere sweater and baggy blue jeans by FRAME, one of the Baby2Baby sponsors. The LA-based clothing brand is known for its denim and American craftsmanship — perfect for a sunny day volunteering in Southern California. Rowland layered two nearly choker-length necklaces over her sweater, adding diamond hoops and gold Gucci aviator sunglasses.

Arriving at LA’s BMO Stadium for the event, the “Dilemma” singer carried an oblique foldover clutch by Christian Dior and walked in black and white leather Prada sneakers. With Rowland’s chic bob and neutral makeup, the entire look was the perfect casual weekday ensemble.

Rowland is one of a growing list of celebrities involved in Baby2Baby. The nonprofit’s holiday event at BMO Stadium also hosted Kendrick Lamar, Demi Lovato, Olivia Wilde, and Ali Wong. Gathering with 500 underserved LA students, the group helped first through third graders pick out new toys and clothing. Santa Claus greeted everyone. The children also sledded on a hill of fake snow and kicked soccer balls on the BMO field.

“My heart is so full,” Rowland told Variety. “It’s our responsibility to make sure that they have smiles on their faces and they have the most basic essential needs.” The former X Factor judge recalled sleeping in her mom’s car at one point during her childhood. “I know what it feels like to not know if you’re going to get a Christmas.”

Now that Rowland is a mom, she and her husband only give two Christmas presents to each of their two sons. She admitted that she overdid it when they first had their oldest son, Titan Jewell, in 2014. She eventually reined in the Christmas presents to a healthier amount. “I was like, ‘We’ve got to settle down and not be raising privileged kids like that,'” Rowland explained. “Besides, after the fifth toy, they don’t really care.” In addition to Titan, age 10, Rowland and Tim Weatherspoon share his brother, Noah Jon, age 3.

Rowland also supports child and maternal care through the birthFund. The nonprofit helps families “receive the midwifery care they deserve,” as she shared on Instagram. Rowland had the “joy of providing midwifery care to a family at @sanantonionursemidwife, and now they’re joyfully welcoming twins into the world!” Rowland said her “heart is full” after donating her resources to birthFund to support “their vital mission to tackle the maternal health crisis.”

King Charles‘ health has reportedly taken a turn as the royal family finalizes their Christmas plans. Kate Middleton and Prince William will attend the family holiday at Sandringham, but a twist could potentially affect Charles’ Christmas spirit.

King Charles’s health revealed after learning of Kate Middleton, Prince William’s Christmas plans

Christmas allows for the royal family to gather on the Sandringham estate and enjoy time together after a busy year. However, this year is even more special to King Charles, as he and Kate Middleton both faced and were successfully treated for cancer in 2024.

Charles is reportedly thrilled about the upcoming holiday season, says GB News sources. “The King is embracing the Christmas period already and really getting into the spirit. Staff who have seen him this week remarked how happy and healthy he was looking,” the outlet reported.

The monarch is reportedly happy that Kate has finished her cancer treatment. He looks forward to the entire family spending some time together, celebrating at Sandringham.

In turn, royal commentator Emily Andrews told the outlet that while Kate and William will attend alongside the king and the extended royal family, they will not spend the entire weekend at Sandringham. Instead, the couple and their three children will also spend a day with Carole and Michael Middleton at Amner Hall.

“They prefer the informality of a relaxed lunch at nearby Anmer Hall. And I understand will do so again this year, with the addition of the Middleton family,” Andrews said of the couple.

Prince William and Kate Middleton will have a less formal holiday with their children

Kate Middleton and Prince William’s Christmas plans are reportedly a lot less formal than the royal family’s traditional holiday. They are set to spend the day at Amner Hall, their private residence on the Sandringham Estate.

Royal expert Jennie Bond described possible Christmas scenes with the Wales family. “I think it is in their own family home that the Waleses let the kids run riot. So I think they’ll probably be tearing open their stockings and racing around their home at some ungodly hour on Christmas morning – just like kids up and down the country” (via OK! Magazine).

“I’d imagine there will be some more flying lessons on the cards for George, maybe something to do with Taylor Swift for Charlotte and anything adventurous for little Louis. He’s probably at an age when he will be wanting things like a skateboard,” Bond said of the gifts the young royals could expect during the Christmas holiday.

Kate and William are likely looking to carve out this private time after a difficult year. The Princess of Wales announced she had cancer in March 2024 and finished chemotherapy in September.

Although the future monarchs will spend time with the extended royal family, they are also intent on having some family time where their children are not involved in such formal activities. Having Christmas at Amner Hall with Kate’s parents does just that.

What does the royal family do during Christmas at Sandringham?

The royal family tradition dictates the clan gathers on Christmas Eve for afternoon tea at 4 p.m., where they enjoy items such as ginger cake or honey and cream sponge, small cakes and scones, sandwiches (crusts off, served in squares) filled with ham and English mustard, Sage Derby cheese and Branston Pickle or Coronation Chicken, with a pot of Earl Grey tea says Darren McGrady, former personal chef to Queen Elizabeth.

Then, the royal family exchanges gag gifts. These gifts are inexpensive, sometimes off-color, and hilarious.

On Christmas Day, women in the royal family have a breakfast of fruit, toast, and coffee delivered to their rooms, while the men eat a more substantial breakfast in the formal dining room. The menu includes eggs, bacon, mushrooms, kippers, and grilled kidneys.

Then, the royals walk to St. Mary Magdalene church. There, they meet members of the public who come out to greet them during this annual tradition.

The Christmas Day lunch consists of turkey with mashed and roast potatoes, chestnut or sage and onion stuffing, cranberry sauce and bread sauce, with Brussels sprouts, carrots, and roast parsnips says McGrady.

Following is a Christmas pudding, and then, the royals sit together to watch the monarch’s address on television. The royals then have afternoon tea, followed by a final meal after 8 p.m. with dessert to follow.
