The 90 Day Fiancé couple’s relationship has been on shaky ground from the moment she arrived in Los Angeles from the U.K. Now, they’re giving their marriage one last chance by participating in season 2 of 90 Day: The Last Resort. The goal of the intensive group couples retreat is to force them to work through their issues or convince them that it’s time to go their separate ways for good. Unfortunately, it looks like the last-ditch effort to repair their relationship did not work.

Rob and Sophie from ‘90 Day Fiancé’ have a troubled relationship

Rob and Sophie connected on Instagram and quickly fell for each other. She moved from London to the U.S. to be with him. But when the posh Sophie arrived in America, she was stunned by Rob’s living situation. However, the real issues in their relationship were insecurity, infidelity, and differing visions for their future together.

Despite the challenges, Rob and Sophie went through with a small beachfront wedding at the end of 90 Day Fiancé Season 10. But saying “I do” didn’t solve their problems. The pair continued to clash over Sophie’s bisexuality, her relationship with her friend Kae, Rob’s online cheating, and other issues. Soon after getting hitched, Sophie moved out. While they were still married during the 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? Season 8 tell-all, their relationship was clearly on life support.

“I don’t think we’re good for each other, to be honest. I think we bring out the worst in each other,” Sophie admitted during the tell-all. Meanwhile, Rob seemed to have given up all hope of reconciling with his wife.

While Rob and Sophie’s chances for a happy future together looked bleak, the pair decided to make one final effort to save the marriage. They signed on for 90 Day: The Last Resort Season 2, where they’ll join five other 90 Day couples – including Gino and Jasmine and Brandon and Julia – at a resort in Arizona to work on their relationship.

“Looking around, we might not be the most dysfunctional couple here,” Rob says in the teaser (via YouTube) for the new season.

“I want us both to be happy,” a tearful Sophie says during a brief glimpse at their recommitment ceremony.

Are Rob and Sophie still together?

Rob and Sophie are keeping quiet about their relationship status ahead of the 90 Day: The Last Resort Season 2 premiere. But there are signs that they are no longer together. Neither has appeared on the other’s social media for over a year. According to his latest updates, Rob spent the Thanksgiving holiday in Australia with friends, while Sophie has been spending time in Miami and LA, apparently without Rob.

Earlier this year, a source told In Touch that Rob and Sophie had split up after one year of marriage. However, they had not yet filed for divorce.

“They haven’t officially filed because the show is still going on,” the insider said. “Sophie and Rob still keep in touch and are friends but they are not together.”

‘Sister Wives’ Kody Brown Acts Like a Snake Oil Salesman: True Colors Shown After Being Backed Into a Corner Over Coyote Pass Property

Sister Wives star Kody Brown showed his true colors after being backed into a corner after talks over the family’s Coyote Pass property came to a standstill. But, after both Meri and Janelle Brown spoke out about how unfairly the plots of land have been divided, Kody fought back by being noncommittal about the “pain” of the property, acting like a snake oil salesman.

Coyote Pass is the only link Kody Brown has to Meri and Janelle Brown

Both Janelle and Meri Brown have ended their spiritual unions with Kody Brown. The women are no longer romantically linked to their former husband.

However, the reality TV stars remain tied together financially. Subsequently, the plot of land they own with Robyn Brown, Coyote Pass, remained unpaid at the time the Dec. 1, 2024 episode was filmed in early 2023.

Previously, Janelle spoke to Meri about paying off the land, as she was worried Kody would let it go back to the seller and they would lose their investment.

Initially, Kody sectioned off plots for each family. His and Robyn’s name is on two lots. Then, there’s one for Janelle and Kody and one for Janelle, Meri, and Kody.

On the Dec. 1, 2024, episode of Sister Wives, viewers learned Kody tentatively switched up the plots. Robyn, Janelle, Meri, and Kody would all have their parcels, and Kody and Meri shared a middle piece of land between their two lots.

Janelle believes the 14-acre property should be split equally in four ways. Meri went a step further and spoke to Kody about having the property appraised.

In turn, he responded like a snake oil salesman, a term used to describe someone who deceives people to get money from them. “I look out there and it’s sort of a source of pain in a way,” Kody explained.

“I don’t want to put in more money and I don’t want to do appraisals. And I don’t want to talk to lawyers about it. I don’t know what to do. I’m not interested in doing anything.”

Kody Brown acted diabolical in this episode. He appeared to know what he was doing when he tried to brush Meri and Janelle Brown off regarding their Coyote Pass concerns said fans on Reddit.

“You can totally see it on his face he’s hiding something. He wanted the extra money,” wrote one fan.

“Kody is a con artist. That’s it. All of it,” claimed a second Sister Wives viewer.

A third shared, “Janelle – truth bomb – he doesn’t want an appraisal because he’s making out like a bandit !!!”

“He said having 5 plots means it will go to the kids….hmmm….who has 5 kids?” wondered a fourth viewer, referencing Kody’s five kids with Robyn Brown.

Did Coyote Pass get paid off?

Coyote Pass is the property for the ‘Sister Wives’ Brown family | TLC

The Brown family purchased a parcel of land called Coyote Pass in 2018 for $820,000. The family intended to split it into five parcels.

By June 2023, the land was ultimately paid off, ending months of discussion about the property. However, Coyote Pass as an asset remains in question for Meri, Janelle, Robyn, and Kody Brown.

The Brown family remains at a standstill with the land. It appears the parcels, per the Coconino County website, are still registered to members of the family.

Per the latest Sister Wives episode, Janelle has retained a lawyer, and Meri said she too would get representation to expedite the process of recouping their assets. Subsequently, in October 2024, Kody and Robyn Brown purchased a new home to the tune of $2.1M.

Six 90 Day Fiancé couples are about to embark on an experience like no other. They’ve agreed to participate in a one-of-a-kind couples retreat that will challenge them to fix the deep-seated issues in their relationships. And if they can’t work things out? Well, it may be time for them to go their separate ways for good.

The first season of 90 Day: The Last Resort featured some of the most notorious couples from the TLC franchise, including Michael Ilesanmi and Angela Deem and Big Ed Brown and Liz Woods. The show returns for its second season on Dec. 2 with an entirely new cast of dysfunctional couples. Let’s meet the cast.

Ari and Bini

Ari, who is from New Jersey, and Bini, who is from Ethiopia, made their 90 Day debut on 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way Season 2. They were last seen on 90 Day Fiancé Season 9. When The Last Resort begins, they’ve been separated for four months as they try to navigate trust and infidelity issues.

“He’s going to try to say that he hasn’t been unfaithful, but I have all the evidence,” Ari says in a teaser for the new season (via YouTube).

Yet despite their issues, Ari and Bini want to continue to work on their relationship for the sake of their son, Avi.

Brandon and Julia

Brandon and Julia most recently appeared on 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? Season 6. They’ve signed on for The Last Resort because of some serious issues in their marriage. For one, they’re not on the same page when it comes to having kids. Plus, Julia, who is from Russia, has been increasingly homesick. They fear they are growing apart and slowly losing touch with what’s important in their marriage.

“Time to share what we have been holding back,” Brandon wrote on Instagram when their casting was announced. “This has been difficult to share but [it’s] time to face it.”

Gino and Jasmine

Gino and Jasmine, who tied the knot in 90 Day Fiancé Season 10, were last seen on 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? Season 8, which followed them as they struggled to adapt to married life. It hasn’t been easy. Not only is Jasmine adjusting to life in the U.S., but they are also facing other issues. Jasmine feels controlled, while Gino is worn out from the constant arguments.

“If we don’t do something now, we’re going to end up divorcing and hating each other,” Jasmine says in the teaser.

Rob and Sophie made their TLC debut in 90 Day Fiancé Season 10. But 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? Season 8 exposed the cracks in their relationship. Sophie had trust issues related to Rob’s conversations with other women on social media, while he couldn’t handle the dramatic ups and downs of their relationship. In the end, he decided to end things. But could The Last Resort inspire them to rekindle their romance?

Stacey and Florian

Stacey and Florian last appeared (alone with Stacey’s twin sister) on the 90 Day spinoff Darcey and Stacey in 2023. They’ve been together for years, but Stacey still has issues with Florian’s partying, especially since they moved to Miami. Following a health scare, Stacey is even more frustrated with Florian, whom she claims was not there for when she really needed him. Florian isn’t a fan of therapy, but he’s agreed to participate in The Last Resort in an effort to save their marriage.

Natalie and Josh

Natalie and Josh last appeared on 90 Day: The Single Life Season 4. They’re the only unmarried couple who are part of The Last Resort Season 2 cast. But Natalie is hoping to change that. She wants to be in a committed relationship with Josh, but he has not welcomed Natalie into his family life. They’ve broken up three times in the past, and this is their last attempt to find a path forward together.

“I think I deserve to have some answers,” Natalie tells the group in a clip from the new season.

It’s the last chance for these 90 Day Fiancé couples. After reaching a breaking point in their relationships, six couples from the hit franchise embark on a unique relationship experiment in 90 Day: The Last Resort Season 2, premiering Dec. 2 on TLC.

Brandon and Julia, Ari and Bini, Gino and Jasmine, Rob and Sophie, Josh and Natalie, and Stacey and Florian will participate in a unique group couples retreat in Arizona, spending three weeks undergoing a rigorous relationship bootcamp aimed at repairing trust and building connections. Will the last-chance intervention work? While we’ll have to wait and see how it all plays out, there are some clues about the status of Brandon Gibbs and Julia Trubkina’s marriage.

Brandon and Julia have been married since 2020

Brandon and Julia made their TLC debut in 90 Day Fiancé Season 8. After connecting online and meeting in person, Brandon proposed to Julia during a trip to Iceland. Soon, she was making plans to move to the U.S. from Russia on a K-1 visa.

Despite some challenges that came from living with Brandon’s parents, Brandon and Julia tied the knot in April 2020. They continued to share their story on 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? They eventually purchased their own home in Virginia, and Julia focused on getting a job, though her desire to return to her career as a go-go dancer didn’t always sit well with Brandon.

The ‘90 Day Fiancé’ couple are part of ‘The Last Resort’ Season 2 cast

In October 2024, TLC confirmed that Brandon and Julia would be part of the cast for 90 Day: The Last Resort Season 2. Exactly what marital problems led the couple to join the show aren’t clear, but a snippet of a conversation in the teaser for the new season suggests that infidelity has pushed them to the brink.

“She cheated on me,” Brandon says during a counseling session, which his parents are participating in via video chat. “You know that?”

“Now you bring this up?” Julia replies as Brandon storms off set.

Clues on social media suggest that Brandon and Julia were able to work through their issues and are still together today. The Last Resort filmed earlier this year, and both Brandon and Julia have been sharing posts on Instagram that indicate they’re still going strong.

In the fall of 2024, they took an epic trip to Europe, where they visited Scotland, England, Ireland, the Netherlands, Germany, Greece, and Italy.

“Message to our future child,” Brandon captioned one post. “Sorry for the delay Mom and dad are kinda busy seeing the world.”

In another post, Brandon implied that he and his wife had come through a difficult time stronger as a couple.

“There is a rainbow after the rain?” he wrote.

While it appears that things work out for Brandon and Julia, that doesn’t mean it will be an easy journey on The Last Resort.

“I have been strong for so long and now I have to open my soul and everything that has weighed on me, not only to my family, but to all of you,” she wrote after their casting was announced. “It will be difficult, emotional. Thank you to everyone who always writes warm words.”

It’s been a huge week for Vanderpump Rules fans. Bravo declared a cast overhaul for season 12 of the beloved reality show. Tom Sandoval and Tom Schwartz announced they’re closing Schwartz & Sandy’s at the end of 2024. And Ariana Madix continues to rise above it all — this time via the biggest Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade ever.

On November 26, Madix was spotted at day two of rehearsals for America’s favorite Thanksgiving tradition. Wearing a fluffy tan coat with black accents, the 39-year-old beamed between takes at Macy’s Herald Square. The belted jacket looked perfectly festive with black pants, chocolate leather gloves, and white knee-high boots. Madix wore her signature blonde hair in a fluffy blowout as she prepared for the parade.

The longtime VPR cast member isn’t performing during the event. She’ll likely be waving at spectators from a float instead of singing alongside Kylie Minogue and T-Pain, reports NBC. Madix is celebrating an extremely successful year of Love Island hosting duties, well-paying brand partnerships, and a starring role as Roxie Hart in the Broadway musical Chicago.

As Madix sees seemingly endless possibilities in her future, her Vanderpump Rules castmates face the end of an era. Amid rumored contract disputes, fans questioned whether the show was capable of returning. Now it will, with no former cast members involved. On Tuesday, reports People, Bravo’s announcement promised a completely new group of “close-knit SUR-vers who are as complicatedly involved with one another as their iconic predecessors.” As of publication, no names have been revealed.

One day before the cast announcement, Sandoval and Schwartz posted Instagram statements regarding the end of their LA bar, Schwartz and Sandy’s. The former Tom explained that “other priorities and commitments have taken hold,” while Schwartz divulged that he has “peace in knowing I gave my absolute all to S&S.” The pair expressed that they’d like to host more events before the end of 2024, likely to eke out more money before the beleaguered bar shuts down for good.

What’s next for the legacy VPR cast members? Lala Kent, Scheana Shay, and Shay’s husband Brock Davies will likely reprise their roles on VPR spinoff The Valley, perhaps becoming full-time cast members for season 2. Schwartz filmed a cameo on Summer House, and Sandoval will appear on season 3 of The Traitors. Katie Maloney launched her Disrespectfully podcast in 2024. She’s also focused on the continued success of her sandwich shop Something About Her, which she co-owns with Madix. Although fans’ reactions have been mixed, the cast seems set up for some success in their respective adult lives.

In 33 seasons of Dancing with the Stars, no male from Bachelor Nation has made it to the finale. Joey Graziadei is the first, rocking his way into the series’ history books.

Thus far, there have been seven male Bachelor stars who have attempted to take home a Mirrorball trophy. The furthest any of them have gotten is fifth place in the competition.

Matt James ranks at the bottom. During season 25, he and partner Lindsay Arnold finished in 12th place.

Joe Amabile was a fan-favorite during season 14. However, he and Jenna Johnson were ultimately sent home, leaving him in eighth place for his season.

Sean Lowe joined season 16, dancing alongside Peta Murgatroyd. They were eliminated during week 7.

In season 24, Nick Viall took to the ballroom floor. He and Peta Murgatroyd came in sixth place.

Finally, in season 20, Chris Soules and Witney Carson came in fifth place. Jake Pavelka and Chelsie Hightower also came in fifth during season 10.

The men of Bachelor Nation haven’t had as much luck as their female counterparts

On the other side, seven Bachelorette stars have competed on Dancing with the Stars, and three have taken home the show’s Len Goodman Mirrorball Trophy.

Bachelorette stars who have mastered the art of ballroom dancing include Jenn Tran, Charity Lawson, Gabby Windey, Kaitlyn Bristowe, Hannah Brown, Melissa Rycroft, and Trista Sutter.

Melissa Rycroft took home a Mirrorball in season 15 alongside Tony Dovolani, Hannah Brown won in season 28 with Alan Bersten, and Kaitlyn Bristowe dominated season 29 with Artem Chigvinstev.

Tran appeared with Graziadei during season 28 of The Bachelor. They are the first couple from the same season of the reality dating show to compete against one another on Dancing with the Stars.

All the details of ‘Dancing with the Stars’ Season 33 finale

There are five competitors left to dance in the finale of Dancing with the Stars Season 33. Each celebrity will perform a redemption dance and a freestyle for judges and viewer points.

Danny Amendola and pro Witney Carson will perform a tango to “I Had Some Help” by Post Malone featuring Morgan Wallen. They’ll dance freestyle to “Pink” by Lizzo and “I’m Just Ken” by Ryan Gosling.

Joey Graziadei and pro Jenna Johnson dance a cha cha to “Can’t Stop the Feeling” by Justin Timberlake. They’ll freestyle to “Canned Heat” by District 78 featuring Jake Simpson.

Chandler Kinney and pro Brandon Armstrong will dance jive to “APT.” by ROSÉ and Bruno Mars. The couple will freestyle to “Hellzapoppin’” by Eyal Vilner Big Band and “Move On Up” by Curtis Mayfield.

Ilona Maher and pro Alan Bersten jive to “Shake A Tail Feather” by Ray Charles and The Blues Brothers. They’ll follow that up with a freestyle to “Femininomenon” by District 78 featuring Mona Rue.

Finally, Stephen Nedoroscik and pro Rylee Arnold will perform a quickstep to “I’ll Be There for You” by The Rembrandts. Their final dance will be a freestyle to “Viva La Vida” by Coldplay.

Dancing with the Stars airs Tuesday, Nov. 26 beginning at 8 p.m. ET. The show will run for three hours on ABC and Disney+ and will air the next day on Hulu.

‘Sister Wives’ Chaos: Kody Brown’s Role in Family’s Money Woes Finally Exposed

Kody Brown’s role in the Brown family’s money woes has finally been exposed on Sister Wives. As the series hits the midway point of season 19, Janelle and Christine Brown finally blow the whistle on Kody’s alleged mismanagement of family funds. After peeling the lid back on his misdeeds, Kody’s reported money grab left three of his four wives at a distinct disadvantage.

In the newest episode of TLC’s Sister Wives, titled “The Eleventh Hour,” lingering questions about how equally the Brown family finances were divided were finally answered. Meri, Janelle, Christine, and Kody Brown addressed the inequality of the division of assets.

In a confessional, Christine revealed, “All of our money got put into a big, huge fund and we got paid out of that fund. And I always talked to Kody about getting paid.”

She continued, “He’s the one who always wrote the check if I needed anything. I told Kody. It was Kody who really had the control of the money.”

Christine and Janelle agreed, “When it comes down to controlling money, I just feel like we each knew what we were going to get out of the family money and then if there was anything extra, we would just have to talk to Kody.”

“But then he could spend whatever the hell he wanted,” Christine concluded. Janelle agreed, “There was a lot of that.”

In an earlier Sister Wives episode, Kody Brown and Janelle Brown butted heads over the family’s plot of land, Coyote Pass. Janelle claims her percentage of the land is her only asset. She’s eager to pay it off, sell the property, and get the money owed to her.

However, Janelle doesn’t trust Kody’s promises about paying off the land and being fair about the division of assets. She spoke to Meri Brown, who is also financially tied to the property and was met with Meri’s trust in Kody’s abilities to do the right thing.

Janelle said in a confessional, “For me, financial security and being smart financially is really important. So, he’s trying to pin everything on me.”

“It makes me so mad because I didn’t know it. He was doing it behind my back. He kept telling everybody these stories and I’m like, ‘F***ing hell.’”

Apparently, Kody blamed the clan’s financial insecurity on Janelle’s alleged mismanagement of the family funds. When, in fact, Kody was freely spending and keeping his wives on an allowance.

Robyn Brown, who lived with Kody Brown as his legal wife, benefitted from that freewheeling spending. She and her children always received the lion’s share of the finances while the other women worked and had to ask Kody for extra money.

After years of financial inequality between Meri, Janelle, Christine, Robyn, and Kody Brown, fans were happy the touchy topic was finally addressed on Sister Wives. They shared their point of view on how Janelle, Meri, and Christine’s statements differed from Kody’s assessment of the family finances.

“How is there such a conflicted understanding between Meri, Janelle, and Christine on who controlled the money? Either someone wasn’t paying any attention or someone’s straight-up lying,” one fan wrote.

“Finally, they are being honest about how the finances were handled and who controlled the pot,” penned a second viewer. “This is all about money for Kody. He’s trying to keep her on the hook, a third Sister Wives watcher deduced.

Sister Wives also released the series mid-season trailer. In the clip, Christine plans her wedding to David Wooley. Janelle and Meri work together on how to best handle their equity in Coyote Pass. Robyn falls off an ATV.

Robyn Brown changed the Sister Wives family forever when she married Kody Brown in 2010.

In the eyes of many of the show’s fans, Robyn is partly – or even mostly – to blame for the collapse of the larger Brown family. Her arrival caused Kody to pull away from his other wives and put her needs and wants above those of Meri Brown, Janelle Brown, and Christine Brown, eventually leading to the end of those marriages. But even though Kody’s relationship with Robyn exposed and deepened cracks in his other marriages, it also brought some good to the Brown family. Both Kody and Janelle say that Robyn helped improve the way everyone in the plural family communicated with each other.

Kody’s marriage to Meri was at a low point, and there was ongoing tension between Meri, Christine, and Janelle. Though Kody had fallen hard for Robyn, adding a fourth wife seemed like a bad idea.

“Some of us had become aggressive, some of us had buried our feelings, and we weren’t emotionally healthy enough to have another wife come into the family,” Kody wrote.

Still, Kody, Meri, Janelle, and Christine all felt that Robyn was meant to be part of their family, so they eventually went forward with the wedding.

Robyn Brown helped Kody Brown ‘start dealing with things I’d avoided’

When Robyn wed Kody, she entered a complicated family situation. Though her sister wives had been welcoming prior to the wedding, integrating her into the family was difficult. All three admitted to being standoffish and cold to Kody’s newest spouse.

“Where I had expected openness and acceptance, I found walls,” Robyn said of her early days in the Brown family.

Gradually, Robyn was able to break down those walls thanks to her willingness to talk about difficult issues, which Kody grew to appreciate.

“When Robyn came into the family, she brought about an emotional honesty that required me to start dealing with things I’d avoided,” Kody recalled in Becoming Sister Wives.

Janelle Brown says Robyn taught the ‘Sister Wives’ family how to argue

Robyn’s sister wives also recognized that she brought a breath of fresh air to their troubled family dynamic. Christine described her as “emotionally and spiritually intelligent.” And Janelle said she helped the family stop having frustrating and circular arguments that didn’t go anywhere.

“The most important thing Robyn has taught us is how to argue in a more effective and polite manner,” she wrote.

“Before Robyn came into the family, our arguments would often end unresolved with raised voices and slammed doors. Frequently, we were all worse off after a family discussion than before,” Janelle added.

Eventually, Robyn started to take on a leadership role in family discussions.

“She keeps a cool head and navigates us through difficult waters … Thanks to Robyn, we are able to avoid bruised feelings and the long periods of unhappiness that used to follow our family talks,” Janelle said.

For Robyn, being a voice of calm and reason was important, especially given her troubled first marriage.

“I tried to suggest that there was a more constructive way of arguing – a safer, calmer way,” she said of her reaction to witnessing some of the Brown family’s brutal fights. Eventually, I showed them through example how to talk things out reasonably.”

Brian is waving another huge red flag at Ingrid, who is beginning to have some serious doubts about her future with her American husband-to-be.

In the Nov. 24 episode of 90 Day Fiancé‘: Before the 90 Days, Brian reveals that he’s been keeping yet another secret from Ingrid. Previously, he concealed the truth about the accident that led to him becoming a quadriplegic. He also lied about his age. (She thought he was 45 when he’s really in his mid-50s.) Now, she’s learned that Brian’s romantic past is more complicated than she realized.

Brian reveals he’s been married four times

Brian, 51, has been around the block a few times when it comes to marriage. Ingrid, 32, his Brazilian fiancée, knew that she wasn’t the first woman to capture his heart. But she didn’t realize how many times he’d said “I do.”

Brian met his most recent ex-wife in Recife, Brazil. They dated for two years before getting married. But after tying the knot, Brian quickly began to have doubts about her intentions.

“After a few months, I realized she was just using me for the green card,” he says in the clip shared on Instagram. “So for the past two years I’ve been going through a divorce.”

“Ingrid knows about my ex-wife and how frustrating it’s been going through this divorce,” he adds.

While Ingrid is aware that Brian is currently going through a divorce in Brazil, she didn’t realize he also had three other ex-wives back in the U.S. The couple is enjoying dinner with a friend when the conversation turns toward divorce. That’s when Brian drops his bombshell.

“I’ve been through this three times,” he says. “Four in total if you count the one here in Recife.”

“What? How many times, Brian?” Ingrid replies. “Four marriages? Four?”

Brian claims that his many marriages mean he’s more motivated than ever to make sure his relationship with Ingrid succeeds.

“This is why I definitely don’t take marriage lightly anymore,” Brian explains in a confessional. “I’ve been married four times, so before I get married a fifth time, I really need to make sure that she’s the one.”

Ingrid doesn’t see it quite the same way. For her, Brian’s checkered marital past is another red flag.

“I knew he’d been married twice, you know?” she says in a confessional. “But four? Four marriages? Four wives?

“Why is he married four times and it didn’t work out?” she adds. “Why is he alone? There’s something wrong.”

In the newest installment of TLC’s Sister Wives, Kody Brown helps ex Meri Brown move out of Flagstaff, Arizona, and into her Parowan, Utah home. However, as his tears flow over saying goodbye to his first wife, two others in the room silently judge him and steal the scene.

Kody Brown’s breakdown over Meri Brown’s move

Over the past decade, Sister Wives star Kody Brown moved emotionally further away from his first wife, Meri Brown. He’s said many times on-camera how much he doesn’t care about Meri, therefore keeping her hanging on in their marriage for years.

In a scene from the TLC series‘ Nov. 24 episode, Kody’s tears flow. He realizes that she’s the last piece of his old life that remains, and with her gone, a period is put on the family they created over 30 years prior.

“It’s the end of an era,” Kody cries as he pulls Meri into an embrace. “It is,” Meri agrees, but appears confused as to why he got so emotional over her exit.

“We had something,” Kody begins as Meri adds, “We had something really good.” Kody continues, “We had something special, and it feels like it all went to s***. “

“I’m not bitter anymore. I’m glad you and I got it figured out and we’re able to be friends and I’m glad you’re my favorite ex-wife,” Kody concluded of his and Meri’s relationship.

However, it’s Meri’s friends Jen Sullivan and Nathan Dilts who steal the show, as they are forced to awkwardly listen to this interaction. The duo turns their heads away from the couple, trying to give them space. But, by the looks on their face, they’re silently judging Kody after years of watching their friend be emotionally abandoned.

In a Reddit thread, fans discussed the scene. They didn’t buy Kody Brown’s tears over the end of his marriage to Meri Brown.

“The best thing about this clip is the panning over to Jen and Nathan. They aren’t buying what he is saying at all. LOVE IT!!!” wrote one Reddit.

“They are far more restrained friends than I would have been able to be in that moment. I think I would have busted out laughing to his face at this performance lol,” noted a second viewer.

A third penned, “Jen stopping herself from screaming “You’re not bitter? You’re not angry?” Besides that obviously not being true, what grounds would he be bitter and angry at her?”

“Y’all truly would have seen me with my hand straight up over my mouth and my other friend smacking me saying “stop making your face look like that. Stop making that face we’re on TV,” a fourth claimed.

So why was Kody Brown crying over the end of his marriage to Meri Brown?

There are several theories as to why Kody Brown may have gotten emotional over the end of his marriage to Meri Brown. They all have to do with his ego.

Kody liked to be in charge of not only his life but the lives of his wives and children. That has been demonstrated time and again throughout 19 seasons of Sister Wives.

Meri taking charge of her own life and breaking ties with Kody after years of neglect hurt his ego. He wasn’t calling the shots, and that hurt him.

Perhaps Kody fully realizes the consequences of his actions after abandoning Meri, Janelle, and Christine Brown, and their children. He reportedly has little or no interaction with many of his adult children.

In the end, Kody’s heartbreak is all about him. Is this scene the truth or just another one of Kody’s over-the-top displays for TLC’s cameras? At least he’s consistent.
